Enedo has received a significant order for DC battery charging systems for a defence customer in Europe. The project consists of over 200 cabinet-based systems that will be delivered between 2026 and 2028, making it one of the larger DC system deliveries for Enedo in recent years. The order strengthens Enedo’s position as a supplier of reliable power solutions for critical infrastructure and defence applications.
Robust solution built for demanding environments
The systems will provide an uninterruptible power supply for the customer’s critical equipment and are designed according to the customer’s specific requirements, emphasizing high reliability in harsh environments with dust, moisture and contaminants. The system is based on Enedo’s robust convection-cooled power conversion technology, which is well suited for enclosed systems where external air cooling is not possible.
The system is combined with advanced real-time monitoring and integration with SCADA systems, enabling the operators to supervise system status and communicate with connected equipment in real time for maximum uptime.

Applications in critical infrastructure
In addition to defence, the systems can also be used in other critical power applications that require highly reliable power supply and monitoring to ensure continuous operation. These applications include power transmission and distribution, industrial DC power and railway signaling. The system is built on proven Enedo power components and is compatible with existing Enedo platforms, enabling reliable integration with existing infrastructure.
