Last autumn, Inission Syd, with factories in Malmö and Borås, announced that the Malmö factory was about to be expanded by 50%. Now the company announces that investments worth approx. SEK 12 million have been made in the Borås factory.
The investments are part of strengthening a sustainable overall offer for Inission Syd. The investments consist of an updated screen printer, a new ASMPT SPI (Solder Paste Inspection), two new ASMPT surface mount modules, new feeders and updated software for the entire line.
In the Borås factory Inission Syd has also, in the same way as in the Malmö factory, invested in new nitrogen gas generators for the main line and for the selective soldering process – a sustainable choice where only the nitrogen gas that is needed is produced. Nitrogen gas is used to create an oxygen-free environment when soldering and thus increase the quality of the solders.
– With the investments, the Borås factory has a surface assembly process that combines high capability with high quality and traceability. Our expertise and new equipment contribute to making the factory even more competitive, says Carl Lidén, Managing Director of Inission Syd.
The new equipment is installed and commissioned during March.
